About Me
My journey into the world of legacy videos began when I interviewed my own Opa (German for grandpa) about his experiences growing up in East Germany during World War II and living under communism. Although I had heard his stories throughout my life, it wasn’t until I recorded him telling those stories that I realized what a special gift this was for him, myself, and my family. And the best part? He truly enjoyed sharing his life experiences, making it a win-win situation for everyone involved.
As a freelance video editor, I've had the privilege of working with clients across different sectors. From small businesses and popular YouTube channels to notable organizations like Greater Public, Yale School of the Environment, Texas Health and Human Services, and the Council on Governmental Relations. This diverse exposure has allowed me to explore different styles and refine my ability to craft compelling storylines that engage audiences.
However, it was my experience with legacy videos that resonated with me the most. The fulfillment I derived from preserving and sharing life stories led me to shift my focus toward these videos. It has become my personal mission because I believe the most important part of our lives is our relationships with the friends and family we love. By documenting the stories of our loved ones, we strengthen the bonds that connect us and gain a deeper understanding of both their identity and our own.
